1. Eid-ul-Fitr

Charity (Fitrana) is given to the poor before Eid prayers.
2. Eid-ul-Adha (Bakra Eid)

Commemorates Prophet Ibrahim’s (A.S.) willingness to sacrifice his son.

People sacrifice animals (goats, cows, camels) and share meat with family, friends, and the needy.
3. Eid Milad-un-Nabi

Mosques and streets are decorated with lights; gatherings include Naat recitations and processions.
4. Shab-e-Barat

Night of blessings and forgiveness.

People pray, recite Qur’an, and distribute sweets and food to neighbors and the poor.
5. Ashura (10th Muharram)

Observed to remember the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (R.A.) in Karbala.

Processions, fasting, and majalis (religious gatherings) are held.
